Summer 2008 Grammar Brush-Up

Write with confidence, whether you're working on a large project that needs a sophisticated organizational structure, or completing daily tasks like sending email and designing course syllabi, or simply having trouble responding to your students' work. The CTL offers a complete writing brushup for faculty and staff, with both a basic (punctuation, mechanics, and usage items like lie versus lay and everyday versus every day) and an advanced session (organization, voice, and document design). Each session lasts two hours, and attending both is highly recommended. Come see for yourself: Demystify the writing process and slay your inner grammar dragons. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the facilitator will tailor the content to address the participants' specific needs.
